I had a mixed experience at Annex Antika. While the location was central and I enjoyed a nice breakfast, the service left much to be desired. I felt unwelcomed and frustrated by the staff's unwillingness to assist with simple requests, which really put a damper on my stay.

Rooms
7.0
I was upgraded to a spacious double room that was clean, but the first night I heard unwelcoming noises from the staff, which overshadowed the room's comfort.
Service
5.0
I found the reception staff to be unhelpful and rude when I reached out for assistance. They refused simple requests like ordering tea or arranging a taxi, which felt very off-putting.
Location

The hotel's location was fantastic, right by the ski slopes and near a bus stop, making it easy to get around. I loved the peaceful sounds of the streaming water nearby.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent and included in my stay, though nothing to rave about, it was satisfactory for the price I paid.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had some nice features like being able to purchase ski passes and rent equipment, but I wish they had more engagement from the staff.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. On one hand, the location was incredibly central, making it easy to explore Zermatt. However, the initial booking process was quite frustrating, as I was in a tough situation due to a last-minute hotel cancellation without communication. My room was spacious and clean, which was a big plus.

Rooms

My room was unexpectedly upgraded to a double and was quite spacious and clean, though the initial booking did leave me a bit concerned.
Service

Check-in was a bit confusing due to the lack of information I received beforehand. I was also disappointed that the shuttle service was not offered when I left.
Location

The location was practically close to everything and right on the bus line to the ski resort, which was very convenient.

Breakfast was included, which I found decent and good for the value, but it wasn't really good.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Annex Antika. The location is quite central, making it easy to explore Zermatt, but the room I was assigned left much to be desired. There were some cleanliness issues that really impacted my comfort, despite the friendly staff.

Rooms
7.0
The Budget Twin Room I stayed in was modern and clean overall. However, it was small and didn't provide much comfort due to some cleanliness concerns.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and welcoming during my stay, but I did feel some rudeness in the way management handled complaints. Communication could certainly have been more professional.
Location

The location is fantastic. It’s right in the center of town and close to the mountains and transport options, making it convenient for getting around.

I had a disappointing experience at Annex Antika. While the location was great and close to some stunning views of the Matterhorn, the service left much to be desired, and the room conditions were unacceptable. I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone based on what I encountered.

Rooms
5.0
The Budget Twin Room was poorly maintained with spider webs and dust, and our room had issues like no fresh air and an unwelcoming basement feel. Not worth the price!
Service
5.0
The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. I felt disrespected when I voiced my concerns about the room and the issues we faced. Their lack of responsibility was disappointing.
Location
6.0
The location is pretty good, close to places with a gorgeous Matterhorn view. It was nice to be near the bridge that offers the best sights, but it's not enough to overlook the other problems.
Dining
5.0
I didn't try the dining options, but I know there were some choices available. However, based on everything else, I didn’t feel inclined to eat at the hotel.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had some amenities, like a ski pass vendor, but honestly, I didn’t feel comfortable using them given the overall sketchy condition of the place.

I had a mixed experience at Annex Antika. While the location was fantastic and the breakfast was nice, I faced some challenges with the service. It felt like I was bothering the staff whenever I made a request, which dampened my overall enjoyment.

Rooms
9.0
The single room was clean and modern, though I wished I had a second pillow for comfort. The room got a little chilly at night, especially from the bathroom, but closing the door helped me sleep well.
Service
5.0
Unfortunately, my interactions with some staff were less than pleasant. A particular receptionist was rude when I asked for help with a ski pass, which was disheartening. It felt like my requests were more of an inconvenience than part of their job.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was perfect—close to the mountains for running and near the bridge that offers the best views of the Matterhorn. It was just a 750-meter walk to the ski lift, which was great for my ski plans.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was good, providing a nice start to my day. I appreciated the variety, which made mornings enjoyable.
Facilities
8.0
They offered convenient facilities, including a ski pass vendor and a welcome drink, which added to the overall experience.
